Our teak slat table tops feature real plantation grown teak. Comes with a 1.125" edge profile and strong screw fabrication with reinforced slats for your choice of bases. The slats are smaller which are more eco friendly as these pieces would normally be disposed of. There is also a variation in wood color with each top which can be uniformed with a tinted oil or after time when it ages. These tops are fabricated first then weathered and sanded again to remain smooth. These are natural unfinished tops so they will weather to a silver type grey unless these tops are oiled or finished consistently. These teak tops consist of heavy duty mortise and tenon construction and are screwed, glued, blocked, and pinned. This will assure a long service life for many years to come.
